Home Sweet Home

We had a wonderful visit to Virginia Beach, but there really isn't anything like being home sweet home. Grace must have missed all her toys because she has been trying to sleep with all of them. This picture does not do it justice; what you can't see are all the stuffed animals that are underneath the blanket.

The trip back down went very smoothly, thanks to Lola keeping Grace company in the backseat. We are now enjoying her (cooking) for a few days before she heads back to Virginia Beach.

Grace and I will definitely miss our family and friends, but hopefully it won't be too long before we see them again.



First time getting something from the ice cream truck. She ordered one of those huge red, white, and blue popsicles and nearly finished the entire thing!





Back in Jacksonville...
We went to the Immaculate Conception Church for Mass today in honor of my grandmother's third death anniversary. She is the beautiful and amazing lady for whom Grace is named.
