Freedom Fest 2010

Still can't get those fingers out of her mouth...

We started celebrating 4th of July a little early here by checking out the Freedom Festival on base this afternoon. There were lots of inflatables (which Grace was too little for), lots of sweet treats like cotton candy (which I didn't get for her because, honestly, I didn't want to deal with the sticky clean up), and some rock and roll music (none of it patriotic). Still, it was a good ol' time because we were hanging out with the Baggetts.




Don't these two look so sweet? Any time we get in the car, Grace excitedly asks, "Eli?" thinking we're going to see him. When she sees me on the computer, she climbs up on my lap and demands to see a picture of her little pal. And don't tell her daddy, but the girl can't keep her hands off the boy- she is constantly hugging on him. Thankfully, Eli is a good sport about it all.
