We made it back from Virginia Beach a couple of days ago and I am slowly recovering from our whirlwind trip. In the middle of it all, I managed to get horribly sick- sicker than I've been in a long time- and the only way I managed to make it through Grace's birthday party was lots and lots of medication.
I am just now making my way back to the land of the living after spending the past few days in the fog of cough syrup and NyQuil.
Still, it was all worth it to celebrate my sweet girl's birthday with family and friends.
Grace had an absolute ball and couldn't stop talking about her party. In the days leading up to her big bash, she kept asking if it was 'her turn' yet. And every single candle the girl saw was an opportunity to practice making a wish and blowing out her birthday candles.
Here are just a few pictures from Grace's princess party...
Grace and her buddies, Eli and Turner.
It was a Japan reunion with Maritza, Melanie, and Lyn at the party! I've missed these girls!
Couldn't have a princess party without a roast pig AKA lechon.
Grace got to pull the first string for the pinata. It also happened to be the string that let all the candy down, much to everyone's surprise!
Musical chairs! Princess Grace was carried around by sweet Jessie, who happened to be our flower girl when she wasn't much older than Grace.
Lolo doling out the prizes.

Such a great birthday party. We'll do it again next year, for sure!
