I'm always enthusiastic about Grace's new accomplishments, but today's new feat left a big old mess for me to clean up. She's learned to open the fridge by herself. She's been trying for weeks, but I kept hoping the fridge's seal would be strong enough to hold it shut. No such luck. And now that she's discovered this new ability of hers, I am constantly running into the kitchen to close the fridge to prevent any other major clean ups. (What you can't see is the spilled juice and yogurt that oozed from the top shelf all the way to the very bottom)
Is it possible to baby proof a fridge?
We did manage to have a bit of fun in the kitchen this morning before the fridge incident. She 'helped' me make some pineapple coconut whole wheat muffins.

We're battling the same thing over here. I too cleaned up a busted yogurt container this morning. It was YUCK as Boss would say.
Grace looks so excited with her conquest of the fridge. Heavy duty velcro from Home Depot or Lowes placed along the top of the door toward the side will keep her out of the fridge.
They have latches for the fridge. We had one when Mya was a wee one :-)
No fancy latch or velcro during your time so I used packing tape.
