Oh No! (You) Broke It!

Grace got this green chair for Christmas and even though it has a removable cover that is washable, it had yet to be washed until today. It needed it badly.

Since I wasn't the one who put this chair together, I had a little bit of trouble when it came time to put the slipcover back on. I didn't realize that the chair was actually four separate pieces that you had to stuff back into place. It was like putting together a puzzle that you know should be super easy, but for whatever reason, you can't seem to figure out. All the while, Grace was literally up in my face and saying over and over again in an accusatory tone, "Oh no! Broke it!"

Never fear, child. In your daddy's temporary absence, your mama has put together an activity gym, dragged a huge TV up a flight of stairs and managed to set it all up correctly, and tackled all other kinds of other household issues- all by herself. I was not about to be defeated by a little Pottery Barn kid's chair slipcover! (Although I very nearly was.)

OK, is it just me or does my baby look like such a big girl in today's pictures? I swear, this last one looks like she's headed off for a day of preschool!

Nope; it isn't just you. She does look like a big girl...especially in that last picture. Still as adorable as ever though.

I'm with you on the PB chair. That is definitely a Bill job around here.
