Giant Elmo

Any time I get near the TV, Grace gets all excited hoping that I'm going to turn it on and let her watch Elmo. To say that she is crazy about Elmo is an understatement.

We had a special treat today when we got to watch a Sesame Street show on base. I thought Grace would be ecstatic. Instead, she was a little freaked out to see such a giant Elmo. The Elmo she's familiar with is doll sized and fits within the TV. It took a little convincing to release the death grip she had around my neck when the characters came out on stage. Eventually though, she got used to giant Elmo, Grover, and Rosita and started to enjoy herself. By the end of the show, she was up and dancing with the rest of the kids.
