Weekend Recap

A visit with a friend, hanging out with family, and learning to make cannolis- that pretty much sums up our weekend. This weekend flew by at lightning speed.

Saturday afternoon was spent with Judy and her cutie son, Josh.

Last weekend we had cannolis at a restaurant and since then, Megan and I wanted to see if we could make it ourselves. Our first try didn't turn out too bad.

Today we visited Lolo at work. He's been dying to have Grace meet his co-workers. Such a proud grandpa!

Then we went to the bowling alley so Uncle Josh could practice his skills. And Grace learned how to play pool from Lola.

Since we were in the area, we stopped by to see Grandma at work.

On Monday nights, my parents make sure to make me my favorite meals. Tonight was shrimp, eggplant, and Filipino tomato salsa night. Yum!

Grace hung out in the laundry basket while we ate.

My favorite picture of the day- three generations. And we match!

A quick video of Grace enjoying a good sale.

Man that Cannoli looks great! Tell Megan she better be ready to make some more when I come back in October!

I'm going to need you to post the family recipe for lumpia, stat.

I'm sad that Katy and I won't be able to see Grace until she is probably quite older (we are both moving south and west of OH in August). I am glad that you, Mike, and Grace are closer than you were in Japan, though!

Take care, Cicely. Keep Megan at your house and don't let her spend all her money before she goes to college.

Love, Amy

I gotcha Michael...I might have the recipe memorized and good to go by then :) But hey, be glad your daughter is a smart shopper!
