Grace has been to a bowling alley before, but last night was the first time she actually played. She loved it and I loved watching her. She applauded herself when she knocked pins down and she jumped with delight when the ball shot out of the ball return. We might have to make family bowling night a regular thing around here. It was cheap, fun, and the old school music they played brought Mike and I back to our junior high days.
Mike and I played horribly. Grace beat us both!Our Saturday was pretty perfect. I slept in until almost 10 while Mike and Grace played. Then it was off to Costco where everyone in Jacksonville was shopping. That place was packed! Finally it was long afternoon naps for all three of us, a home cooked dinner that Grace devoured, and then movie night for me and Mike. There would be no room for complaints if all Saturdays were like today.
What a GREAT day! We don't bowl enough around here, we are going to have to try it out again.
