I had these grand plans to accomplish a bunch of stuff today, but the dreary weather I woke up to zapped all my motivation to be productive. Instead we bummed around all morning, didn't change out of our pajamas until right before lunch, and then took an afternoon trip to the Dollar Store in search of cheap beach toys. There's always tomorrow. And the weather forecast calls for lots of sunshine so hopefully I'll have better luck knocking things off my to-do list.
On the bright side, Mike called this afternoon and we were able to chat for a little bit. Emphasis on 'little bit'. A twenty-six minute conversation that got cut off because of work issues, after weeks of not hearing his voice is just not long enough. Like I said, there's always tomorrow.
